Sam, a proud Kiwi and Scot, was raised in South West London and has a deep-rooted passion for travel and flip-flops. He initially embarked on a career in London’s dynamic events industry but soon redirected his focus to study Real Estate at Oxford Brooks University. It was during his studies that Sam discovered his love for combining classic cars and travel. This newfound passion inspired him to establish Samuel Lloyd & Co in 2017, where he honed his skills in uncovering forgotten yet collectible cars.
Sam’s firm belief that buyers of accessible classic cars should not be restricted by borders compelled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the international shipping, export, and import landscape.
